Come work on connecting deeply to your favorite song. This workshop will begin with an entryway into the vulnerability of our voices by exploring how our entire being is affected by our sound and the sound of others. Participants will gain tools they will be able to use over and over as access points to their most vulnerable selves. The class will then focus on one-on-one work with the teacher: six participants will have a chance to explore their song and find openings that connect them spiritually and emotionally to their song, thus paving the way for the singers' most authentic and free voice.
Karaoke to Catharsis will be taught by Kayla Green, a member of the Pride a collective of teachers trained by Jonathan Stancato in Inside Voice techniques.
